American Savings Bank Endowed Scholarship Fund

History:  It is the intent of American Savings Bank to serve our neighbor island communities through this scholarship.
Description:  The purpose of this Fund is to support education in Hawai`i. It is American Savings Bank's (ASB) intent to link this scholarship endowment to the bank's strategic initiatives which includes supporting K-12 students in Hawai`i and encouraging their matriculation into higher education. Funds are intended to support costs associated with attendance (e.g. tuition, books, fees, etc.).
Level:  Undergraduate
High School:  Preference shall be given to graduates of the following qualifying high schools: 1) Waianae High School; 2) Anuenue School; 3) Kapaa High School; 4) Waiakea High School; 5) St. Louis School; 6) Farrington High School; 7) Konawaena High School; 8) Moanalua High School; 9) Lahainaluna High School; 10) Nanakuli Intermediate and High School; 11) Maui High School; 12) Kalani High School; 13) McKinley High School; 14) Island School; 15) Kaua'i High School, and 16) Kaiser High School.
Residency:  None
GPA:  GPA of 3.0.
