Description: |
The purpose of this fund is to assist students conducting research in entomology in the Dept. of Plant & Environmental Protection Sciences in the University of Hawaii at Manoa College of Tropical Agriculture & Human Resources. Funds may be used to assist students with various types of support including but not limited to scholarships, awards, research, travel to conferences and other related expenses as deemed appropriate by the department. In the spirit of Dr. D. Elmo Hardy, students who are studying systematics issues shall be given preference. Recipients must be full-time or part-time graduate students in the Dept. of Plant and Environmental Protection Sciences in the UH Manoa CTAHR. Recipients shall have satisfactory academic achievement as determined by the selection committee. Recipients must be conducting research in entomology with a preference to students studying systematics issues. |
